Dance, move your arms and feet, stretch, run around in circles, smile, shake, move fast and slow.
Choose a classroom percussion instrument. Practice keeping the steady beat together with the music.
Add-an-instrument: Sing the song again. Add only one instrument at a time until the entire class is playing their instruments to the steady beat.
Optional: Make your own musical instrument. Use paper towel rolls with waxed paper, water bottles with dried beans/rice, oatmeal box drums, boxes with rubber bands, etc.
